Jeanne Frances Lyons passed peacefully in her sleep on March 23, 2018. She was born in Columbus Ohio on July 13, 1942 to the late Lillian and Alton Williams.
Mrs. Lyons was a graduate of St. Joseph's Grade School and was Valedictorian of her class at West High School. She attended Ohio State University and graduated with degrees in Business and English. Jeanne taught at Maumee Junior High and Senior High English and Business.
She was an avid Ohio State Football fan and a member of the Ohio State University Alumni Association. Jeanne will be missed by her beloved golden retriever, Sundance and cat, Tippy.
Jeanne will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 53 years, William "Bill"; son, Robert Lyons; daughter, Bonnie Jeanne (Chris) Waterfield; granddaughter, Maralissa Waterfield; brother-in-law, John (Linda) Williams; sister-in-law, Lois Sieler; niece and nephew, Scott Sieler and Lynette Sieler.
Per Jeanne's wishes, no services will be held.
The family requests memorials be made to: The Toledo Area Humane Society.
