Jeanna Adams

Jeanna K. Adams, age 30, of Toledo, passed away Friday, September 24th, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born December 17th, 1979 to Robert and Linda (Northrop) Adams in Toledo. Jeanna enjoyed working as a Manager and Bartender at Mick's Green Rooster in Toledo for 4 years. She attended Wernert Elementary School in Toledo and then moved to Irvine, California with her family, graduating from Woodbridge High School, Class of 1998. After high school, she moved back to Toledo in 2000. Jeanna enjoyed riding her motorcycle, watching Nascar, cheering on Carl Edwards and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and spending time with those who meant the world to her. She had a quick wit and a joke for every occasion to share. Jeanna loved to have fun and lived her life looking for the good in everything. Her strong will and courage allowed her to experience so much in her short life. Jeanna's family was her treasure and safe harbor, encouraging her in every way. She also loved caring for her cats, "Boogie" and "Sassy" as well as, shopping for anything and going to concerts, enjoying all types of music and dancing to the beat. Jeanna was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She will be remembered for enjoying her daily "Princess House" with her Dad. Jeanna had a way of making people smile. She went above and beyond to help anyone around her. Jeanna was a loving and caring, selfless person, putting others needs before her own. She touched so many lives in so many ways. Her memory will be forever in their hearts.

Jeanna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Virginia Northrop and D.C. Adams. She is survived by her loving parents, Bob and Linda Adams; siblings, Jodi (Botzko) Scheffert; Jason Botzko; Toby (Mike) (Adams) Antrobus; James (Cora) Adams and Tiffany (Vincent) (Krom) Horst; nieces and nephews who she looked at "as the kids she never had", Ben Botzko; Jordan and Rory Scheffert; Kaitlan Oakes; Alyssa and Tyler Adams; Abby, Jack and Joseph Weidner and Chandler, Logan and Ava Horst; Grandma, Doris Meidt and many aunts, uncles, special cousins and dear friends in Toledo and Kelly Johnson her high school friend from CA, as well as Mick Marquis, her boss and friend who she loved working for and riding her motorcycle with.

The family will receive guests Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) from 12-4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Jeanna's Life and sharing of Memories will begin Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

The family would like to say thank you to the doctors and nurses, especially Kathy Gerace, Laura Conant and Chaplain Karen Thompson for the loving care and support they provided for Jeanna while she was on her final journey.
