Jeanette E. Campbell

Jeanette E. Campbell, age 95, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on March 13, 1918 to Clarence and Elsie (Gensler) Hawthorne in Toledo. Jeanette married Hollis Campbell in 1941 and he preceded her in death in February of 2002. She worked many years ago at the offices of Doehler Jarvis Corporation and later became a secretary at the Toledo Public Schools Administration building retiring in 1981.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Sandra Weidinger; grandson, David (Amber) Weidinger; granddaughter, Amy (Brian) Clare, of Ida, MI; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Makayla and Zachary Weidinger; and Tyler and Brandon Clare. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Hawthorne.

There will be no services and burial will be private for Jeanette. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
