E. Birtwhistle, age 75, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2006. Jean was a very kind and loving person, who was always there when you needed her. She loved her dog Angel as well.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 42 years: John; daughters: Norma (Larry), Helen (Ray), Linda (Wayne), Dorothy (Dale) and Jackie (Scott); grandchildren: Jeannie (Jay) and 13 others; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy and Skippy and her brothers Harold and Delbert.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, February 9, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will take place on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
Those wishing to make contributions are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association.
