Jean Beverly Gunn

Jean B. Gunn, age 77, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at The University of Toledo Medical Center. Jean was born along with her triplet sisters on February 28, 1936 to Myron and Rachel (Moyer) Heiden in Toledo. She was a graduate of Libbey High School and after 28 years of service she retired from Toledo Public Schools. When she could, she often volunteered at St. Luke Hospital. Jean was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church. In her spare time, Jean enjoyed Jazzercise classes, gardening, listening to music, her favorites were Lawrence Welk & Engelburt Humperdink, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her five sons, Keith (Susan), Scott (Cheryl), Kerry (Toni), John (Kristen) and Mark; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Jane and triplet sister, Joyce. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by infant brother, Myron, Jr., triplet sister, Joan and sister, Janet.

The family will receive guests on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 2440 South Ave., with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
