Jaunita Miles

Jaunita "J.J" (Vasquez) Miles, age 48, of Sylvania, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 27, 2007. She was born on September 10, 1958 to Ramiro and Maria Vasquez, Sr. in Toledo. J.J. was a member of the Cooley Canal Yacht Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars. She loved being with her beloved husband and son. J.J. enjoyed being outdoors in her garden and loved nothing more than being with her family, friends and cousins. She was a wonderful, loving, caring, dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Demetrio C. Vasquez. J.J. is survived by her loving husband of 20 years: Steven S. Miles; son: Steven Vasquez; father-in-law: Al Miles, of Temp., MI; brothers and sisters: Ramiro Jr., Ernesto, Roger, Armondo, Alfredo, Carmela, Elida, Tina, Rose and Linda; brothers-in-law: Michael (Diane) Houser, of Pace, FL, Dale Miles, of Elko, NV and Tom Murphy of Broken Arrow, OK; aunt: Susie Vasquez; 39 nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, August 3, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2 -6:00 p.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m.
