Janis M. Tilton

Janis M. "Jan" (Hill) Tilton, age 57, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at home. She was born February 15, 1960 to James and Madonna "Donna" Hill in Toledo. Jan was a graduate of Whitmer High School in 1978. She was a longtime member of St. Clement Catholic Church. Jan enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family, especially her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents. Jan is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, James Tilton; children, Samantha and Andrew Tilton; sister, Joyce Hill; and many dear family and friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo with visitation from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. in church.
