Janis Shedrick-Williams

Janis Shedrick-Williams was born March 8, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Sylvester and Eula M. Shedrick. She was married to the late Samuel A. Williams and from this union a daughter, Ebony M. Williams was born. Janis graduated from Spencer Sharples High School, Class of 1978. Janis departed this life at Regency Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio on November 12, 2015.

Janis leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Ebony M. (Richard) Fountain; sons, Sylvester D. Whitfield and Jonathan S. Whitfield; granddaughter, Jaihzayda M. Whitfield; sisters, Sylvia (Vincent) Hester of GA, Winifred Badgett, Marolyn Bonds, Carolyn (Tryone) Campbell and Cynthis (Robert) Farrow of Holland and Toledo. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. – Noon on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at Noon.
