Janet Thompson

Janet Thompson, age 85, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away peacefully December 13, 2020 at the Sunset House with her brother by her side. She was born on August 17, 1935 to Stanley and Marie (Raw) Thompson in Montana. Janet worked as a real estate investor and an astute stock investor for many years before retiring. She loved her dog, Buttons. Janet was an excellent cook, and especially loved Christmastime. One of her known specialties was her fruitcakes. Janet was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was active at the senior center where she made many friends over the years. Janet's smile, spirit and caring nature will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Janet is survived by her brother, Arthur (Jan) Allen; nieces and nephews, Jason (Piper) Allen, Nathan (Andi) Allen, Rachel (William) Eisenhart, Justin (Ashlei) Allen, Angela Allen, Austin (Kaitlyn) Allen, and Alicia (Michael) Bibau; 8 great-nieces and great-nephews, and dear friends.

There will be no visitation for Janet and the family will have a private celebration. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
