Janet Runnels

Janet Runnels, age 75 of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 26, 2013 at home where she was surrounded by her family. She was born August 10, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio; the daughter of the late Dorothy Holmes and Warren Stevens. She was the oldest of two children.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lenz of Sylvania, Ohio; son, Robert (Sandy) Koester of Chesterfield, Michigan; daughter, Peggy (Steve) Park of Holland, Ohio; sister, Joan Mayhugh of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Stacie Hines, Bill Lenz, Holly Gullekson, Matthew Fredericks, Bob Fredericks, Chloe Baxter, Donald Koester, Nicole Koester; six-great-grandchildren; three nieces and nephews as well as her precious kitty cat, Kee Kee. She was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest son, Donald Koester.

Janet's family wishes to extend a special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and hospice personnel who were a part of her care throughout her illness and in her final days.

The family will celebrate Janet's life with a private Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
