Janet M. Palmison

Janet M. Palmison, age 66, of Toledo, passed away peacefully after battling cancer, Monday, February 2, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 28, 1948 to Richard and Dorothy (Bailey) Messmer in Toledo. Janet was a Vice President for NEBA for 38 years before retiring. She was a member of the UFCW Local 911/Local 75 and loved to go to Motor City Casino. Janet was a dedicated, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Palmison; brother, Thomas Messmer; and son-in-law, Matthew L. Jaeger. Janet is survived by her loving children, Peter Palmison, Teresa (Brian) Peterson, Veronica Jaeger and Annette Munafo; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Patti) Messmer; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 4 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Andy Hill.
