Janet A. (Webber) Flaherty
Janet Ann Flaherty, age 74, formerly of Maumee, currently of Lake Seneca, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Evergreen Manor Nursing Care Center, Montpelier, Ohio. She was born June 3, 1933 to Henry and Esther (Krouse) Struble in Findlay, Ohio. Janet was an avid crafter who enjoyed crocheting and cross stitching. She also loved to watch the birds and the boats at the lake. Janet especially enjoyed spending time with her family. While visiting with her daughter, Diane, and family, in Arkansas, Janet fell in love with the area and moved to Oklahoma with her second husband, James for several years. Janet then moved to Cincinnati and was able to spend time with her daughter, Carrie, and family. Most recently, Janet moved in with her daughter, Merrie-Anne, and family, at Lake Seneca in Montpelier, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Webber; her second husband, James Flaherty, and her brother, William H. Struble. Janet is survived by her loving children, Merrie-Anne (Larry) Ferow of Montpelier, OH; Diane (Terry) Kuhn of Perrysburg, OH; Carrie (Ross) Anderson of Milford, OH; Robert Webber of Perrysburg, OH; Daniel Webber and David Webber both of Toledo; grandchildren, Brad and Blake Feaster; Lindsey Kuhn; Lisa (Richard) Perry; Ian and Kelsey Anderson and sister, Emma Jean Turner of Toledo and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
