Jane A. Langenderfer

Jane A. Langenderfer, age 85, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at home. She was born on October 20, 1929 to Jerome and Frances (Piper) Langenderfer in Toledo. Jane was a longtime member of GESU Catholic Church. She devoted her life to taking care of her son, Joseph, mother, and Aunt Bernice Casebere, of Montpelier, OH. Jane was always helping others, but refused help for herself. She loved gardening, reading out of town papers and corresponding with many out of town friends and relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joey Langenderfer. Jane is survived by her brother, Jerry (Mary) Langenderfer; nephews, John and Robert (Teresa) Langenderfer; great nephews, Roman, Jack and Mason; great-nieces, Julia and Ella; cousin, Robert (Marilyn) Piper, of Bryan, Ohio; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 10 – 11:00 a.m. at GESU Catholic Church, 2049 Parkside Blvd., Toledo with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
