Jamie E. Knerr

Jamie E. Knerr, age 58, of Erie, MI, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on January 24, 1957 to Thomas and Evelyn (Vordeburg) Thrush in Toledo. Jamie worked at Toledo Edison for over 10 years and then as an office manager for the I.A.T.S.E. Local 24 Toledo Stagehands. She loved all animals and spending time with her family. Jamie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jamie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jeff Knerr; daughter, Sarah (Rolland) Smith; son, Jeffery (Ashley) Knerr, SSgt. U.S.A.F.; grandson, Ryland; and many other family members and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James Knerr.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
