James Richard Ziehr, Jr.

James Richard Ziehr, Jr. age 60, of Swanton, OH passed away unexpectedly July 29, 2021 at his home. He was born November 23, 1960 in Toledo to James, Sr. and Barbara (Drepps) Ziehr. Jimmy was a member of Local 18 Heavy Equipment Operator for 42 years. He was also employed with the Sandman Sales Yard for more than 18 years retiring in 2021.
Jimmy enjoyed drag racing, old cars, shooting guns, spending time outside and he loved his animals. The most important part of Jimmy's life was spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was also preceded in death by his brothers, Lonnie Ziehr and Louis Disher. He is survived by his wife, Kay Ziehr; daughters, Terra Ziehr and Julie Ziehr; sister, Patty Burkhard.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 4, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Ziehr Residence.
