James J. Wodarski Jr., age 51, passed away on December 28, 2017 at UTMC while his mother held his hand.
He was born on October 25, 1966 to Judith (Gubanski) and James J. Wodarski Sr. in Toledo, Ohio. Jimmy, as called by his family, had played in several bands as a guitarist through the years. He was a graduate from Macomber-Whitney High School and received a degree in Communications from Owens Community College. Jimmy worked as an Engineer in TV and radio for many years, most recently at WCWA 1230 Fox Sports. He was an avid hunter and sportsman, as well as a die-hard Buckeye fan.
He is survived by his parents; sisters, Laura and Julie; brother, Robert; nieces and nephews, Andrea, Raymond, Lisa, Jennifer, Tim, Creighton, Briana, Sydney and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister, Lee Ann Wagner; brother, Jeff; Uncle Stan; Aunt Peggy and grandparents.
The Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. Hyacinth Parish, 720 Parkside Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43607.
