James W. Burden, 57, passed away on February 15, 2014. He was born on November 12, 1956 to the late Esther Thebeau and Benjamin Loo in Toledo, Ohio.
Jim was active in Scouting when he was growing up. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout, something he was very proud of and carried with him throughout the rest of his life. Jim graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1975. He served honorably in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. Jim recently worked at Guardian in the Auto Industry as a Production Line Crew Quality Controlman.
In addition to his birth parents, Jim was preceded in death by his adopted father, Delbert Cyrus Burden and step-father Carleton Louis Thebeau. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Danny Morse; siblings, Chris Burden, Steve (Juta) Burden, Timothy Burden, Kimberly Burden-Binkley, Sherry Burden, Kelly Hastin, Jon (Eva) Thebeau, Brian (Jackie) Thebeau, Carleton (Tiffany) Thebeau and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Toledo Moose Lodge 713, 226 S. Byrne Rd., Toledo, OH 43615. The Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
James's cremated remains will be ultimately placed at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe Street in Sylvania, OH.
