James W.Stead
James W. Stead, age 82, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday in his daughter's home under hospice care. He was born January 26, 1935 in Maltby, PA. He was the son of the late James and Alice (Hughes) Stead. He married Joan Zelinski November 26, 1959. He was Human Resources Director for American Chain and Cable until his retirement.
He is survived by his children, Kimberly Naparstek and James A. (Kathy) Stead; grandchildren Keegan Naparstek and Magnum Stead; brother William (Patricia) Stead and sister, Elizabeth Boone. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joan Stead; sister Madeline Stead and brother Thomas Stead.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Newcomer Funeral Home 4150 W Laskey Rd. Toledo, OH 43623 assisted the family with arrangements.
