James S. Hall, age 64, of Westerville, passed away October 1, 2015 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital.
Jim was born May 3, 1951 in Toledo to Alvin and Henrietta Hall. Jim graduated from Sylvania High School in 1969. Jim met his wife Debbie Schneider at McDonalds on Secor Road when they were both teenagers and it was one of his favorite stories to tell. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University with honors and received his Master's in Business from University of Illinois. Jim worked for numerous companies in manufacturing and transitioned in marketing, spending most of his career with General Electric and Liebert. James enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He loved traveling with his family and watching and attending sporting events and going to Scioto Downs.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Hall. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Debbie Hall, daughter, Brittany Hall, son, C.R. Hall, mother, Henrietta Hall, sister, Karen (Jim) Mears, brother in law, Ron (Mary) Schneider, sister in law, Brenda (Tom) Sova, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 10:30am until 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road 419-473-0300. Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm at the funeral home with Fr. Bill Rose officiating. Burial to follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Maumee Valley Save a Pet.
