James S. "Jim" Combs, age 76, of Toledo, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. He was born on July 15, 1936 to James William and Dora Combs in Toledo. Jim was employed with American Express Financials for 15 years until retiring and then most recently was employed with Paramount. He was an avid football fan, especially of The Ohio State Buckeyes. Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Ruby. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Judith; daughters, Cindy Blair, Kim Hammer and Sandy Greaney; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Lonnie NaVeau.
Graveside Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 W. Central Ave., Toledo.
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the America Cancer Society.
