James "Jim" T. Rokicki
James "Jim" T. Rokicki, age 58 of Toledo passed away Monday, June 9, 2003 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Jim was born August 22, 1944 to Sylvester James and Wanda Angela (Narusiewicz) Rokicki in Toledo. He was employed with the Toledo Blade. Jim was an avid Ohio State Fan and enjoyed cheering his team on to victories.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; Ron "Rocko" Rokicki. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 10 years; Linda L. (Singer) Rokicki, sister; Barbara Heintschel, sons; Darrin Kirkham and Toby (Toni) Kirkham and daughter; Kim Hurt, grandchildren; Jake, Hannah, Toby, Autumn and Sierra, many nieces, nephews, dear family and friends and favorite pet; "Rocky".
The family will receive guests Wednesday from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Mayfair Plymouth Congregational Christian Church, 5253 Bennett Rd. Officiating will be Pastor Dave Claassen.
