James R. Ramey Sr., age 57, of Toledo, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 28, 2020. Jim was born January 24, 1963 in Toledo to Francis and Carolyn (Roe) Ramey. Jim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. In his free time Jim enjoyed playing guitar, drawing and air brushing. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years, Nioka Ramey, daughter, Jamie (Kristoffer) McCown, son, James (Sarah) Ramey II, son, Troy Ramey, brother, Robert Ramey, sister, Marlene (Jim Kline) Sloan, sister, Tracey (Con) Rabe, 5 grandchildren, brother-in-laws; Gary and Harold Provo and feline companions Domino and Gizmo Bubba.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
