James Pettaway, Jr.
James "Jimmy" Pettaway, 74, passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2011.
He was born on November 23rd, 1936 to the late Jim and Ida Pettaway.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his brothers, Willie, David, Eugene, Saul, Joseph, Major, Richard; sisters, Rebecca, Mary and Carolyn. He is survived by his sisters, Ida (Joe) Davis, Ruby Butler. Special thanks to friends and caregivers, Jesse and Pat Pippin for taking care of him for almost 20 years.
The family will receive guests from 2-8:00 p.m. on Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
