James N. Fischer

Jim died February 8, 2014 at University of Toledo Medical Center. He was 70 years old. His soul moved on, as others before him, but his spirit remains with us forever. Jim was a graduate of Devilbiss High School. He learned, and then taught printing. He owned and operated Fischer's Printing on Reynolds Road for 27 years. Jim liked lake life and had a cottage on Silver Lake for 23 years. He sang for the Toledo Swiss Singers for 25 years. Jim enjoyed yard work, cooking and baking, known for his cookies. He was a tall, kind and neighborly man. Jim also enjoyed playing cards and dominos with friends and family. He was liked and loved by all. He was Uncle Jim.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Helen and brothers, Bob and Fritz. He is survived by his partner Bob Leonhardt; brothers, Jack (Sue), Frank; sister-in-law, Ann Fischer; and many nieces, nephews, more family and friends. He is at peace.

Burial will be private. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
