James B. Mahaney

James B. "Jim" Mahaney, age 63, of Wauseon, passed away November 14, 2019 at St. Lukes Hospital. Jim was born July 15, 1956 in Toledo to Jerry and Roslee (Hammell) Mahaney. He was employed with the Owens Community College for 30 years retiring in 2014. Jim loved the outdoors and working with his hands.

He is survived by his wife, Linda A. Mahaney, father, Jerry W. Mahaney; children, Kylie L. (Rob) Scislowski, Phillip J. (Leslie) Mahaney, step-children, Robert D. (Sue) Harris, Jeremy E. (Christine) Thomas, Jessica L. Thomas; siblings, Mark W. Mahaney, Lonna (Mike) Meadows; 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his mother and one grandson, Andrew James Scislowski.

The family will receive guests Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home . Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania.
