James P. "Jim" Lyons

James P. "Jim" Lyons, age 83, of Perrysburg/Waterville, OH passed away June 11, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 10, 1940 in Toledo, OH to Laurel "Curly" and Dorothy (Davis) Lyons. Jim served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1958 - 1961. He retired from the former Baron-Drawn Steel Company. Jim was an avid reader and enjoyed word search puzzles.
In addition to his parents, Jim was also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Lyons. He is survived by his wife, Pam Lyons; daughters, Jennifer Lyons and Jamie (Jason) Hilyard; grandchildren, Gavin (Elizabeth) Lyons, Peyton Lyons-Glashauser, Emily Lyons-Glashauser, Tegan Horne, Jason Hilyard, Jr., Alissa Hilyard and Finley Hilyard; step-sons, Robert (Jennifer) McGraner and Michael McGraner and brother, Jon (Elaine) Lyons.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 3620 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Jim's memory.
