James Lehsten

James L. "Jim" Lehsten, age 61, of Pioneer, OH formerly of Toledo, passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on February 12, 1946 to John and Margaret (McCarthy) Lehsten in Toledo. Jim worked as a truck driver for 35 years, most recently at Roadway Express, Toledo where he was the Chief Union Steward. He had a great sense of humor, always making people laugh. Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Lehsten. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Trudy (Furll) Lehsten; sons: Kevin (Kathy) and Keith (Kim) Lehsten; grandchildren: Kayla, Mackenzie, Alex and Emily, "We Love You Papa Jim!"; mother: Margaret Lehsten; mother-in-law: Dorothy Furll; sister: Judy (Walt) Piotrowski; brothers: David (Kerry) and John (Cheryl) Lehsten; sister-in-law: Barb Lehsten; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, April 13, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
