James Kaiser, Jr. age 85, died peacefully Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 at Franciscan Care Center, Sylvania. Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis (Miller) Kaiser; sons, Mark (Judy) Kaiser and Michael (Christine) Kaiser; daughter, Kay (Michael) Davis; grandchildren, Eric (Stephanie) Kaiser; Curtis (Azin) Kaiser; Michael (Amanda) Kaiser, Jr.; Robert (Tara) Kaiser and Lisa Kaiser; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Jim owned Nu-Way Company Frame Shop for 30 years before selling the business in 2004. He was always willing to give to the art community of Toledo. Jim was employed for 27 years at Toledo Blue Print Co. He was a WWII US Army Veteran and enjoyed his reunions with the 492nd Port Battalion. Jim was also a member of Spuyten-Duyval Golf Club prior to his retirement.
The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9-11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
