James M. "Jim" Foy, age 61, of Toledo passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. He was born February 16, 1950 to James and Rosemary (Spinner) Foy in Toledo. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed attending Walleye hockey games and going to horse races in Florida.
He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Foy; children, Patrick Foy and Andrea (Mike) Westmeyer; grandchildren, Brock and Caden; siblings, Jack Foy, Sandy (J.D.) Dobson and Colleen Eckhart; cousin, Jake and special friends, Steve, Scott, Chris and David, Darryl and Dan. Preceding him in death was his father.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
