James Ellis

James "Jim" O. Ellis, age 65, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on October 29, 1941 to Orman and Rita (Chapman) Ellis, in Toledo. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed collecting stamps and movies.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 13 ½ years: Anne Ellis; daughters: Heather, Rosemarie and Darlene Ellis; son: Anthony Ellis; 3 grandsons; mother: Rita Campbell; sister: Linda Montgomery; and many extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday, January 15, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Andy J. Hill.
