James K. Eichner

In loving memory of a wonderful Husband, Dad and Papa. James Kent Eichner, age 73, of Toledo, passed away January 29, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Jim was born February 18, 1944 in Toledo to Kenneth and Pauline (Mercurio) Eichner. He retired from AP Parts. Jim was the former vice president of Merickle-Farley Trout Club. He was a member of North Branch Boys Club, Southside Sportsman Club, 52 year member of the Toledo Zoo, Local 14 and foster parent for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara A. Eichner, daughters, Amy L. (David Sexton) Eichner-Lather, Holly A. Eichner and Ashley N. (Abraham) Eichner-Pendell, granddaughters, Bailey E. Lather and Edna A. Eichner, his faithful companion Sully, sister, Judith Wheeler, brother, John C. (Pam) Eichner and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Monday, February 5, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 7:00 pm. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial, contributions may be made to Ohio Living Hospice or Merickle-Farley Trout Club in Jim's memory.
