James H. Drouillard Jr.

James H. Drouillard Jr. "Pipi", 96, of Toledo, passed away January 22, 2021 at Swan Creek Care Center. James was born March 28, 1924 in Toledo to James and Clara (Strub) Drouillard.
He attended Woodward High School until he was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served his country in WWII. James married Elizabeth Popp in 1948 and together they had two daughters. He then married Donna Richard in 1969. Together they shared 45 years of marriage until her passing in 2014. James was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 9445 where he joined in 1966.
He was an avid bowler and would often times bowl three times a week. At 77 years old, James was very proud of the 300 game he bowled in 2002, and his two 11's in a row. From 2002-2004 he carried over a 200 average on three bowling leagues. James enjoyed reading and has read over 2095 non-fiction books from 1980 to 2020. In his free time he liked to take care of his home and yard.
Left to cherish his memory are children, Jamie (Robert) Lada, Paula Drouillard, Susan (Glen) Debbe, Sharon (Rocky) Mucherino, David (Dee Dee) St. Aubin III; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Drouillard; siblings, Iona Ellison, Lawrence Drouillard, Kenneth Drouillard.
A Celebration of Life honoring James will be held at a later date.
