James Michael Cook, age 59, of Indian Lake, Ohio, passed away October 4, 2016 at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellfontaine, Ohio. James was born October 30, 1956 in Toledo to James and Karen (Koster) Cook. James was a Muscian/Carpenter and a member of the bands "Miss Penny and the Loafers" and "The Drive". He was an avid member of the NRA and loved the great outdoors. James enjoyed being with his family and friends. Most of all he thoroughly treasured his time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 15 years, Debra (Mengel) Cook; Son, Michael (Alanna) Cook, Daughter, Jamie (JT) Cook, Son, Rusty (Melissa) Behlmer, Son, Casey (Heather) Behlmer, 13 Grandchildren, 1 Great grandchild, Sister, Lynn (Keith) Johnston, Sister, Laurie (Rick) Ewing, Brother, Daniel (Jackie) Cook; Father, James Cook and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Karen Cook and Son, Ralph Behlmer.
The family will receive guests at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo from 12 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening at 6 pm. Burial will be private.
