James John Calipetro, 82, of Bullhead City AZ. Formerly of Toledo, OH passed away January 28, 2024, in Gates Mills, OH while visiting his son and family. Jim was a USMC Vietnam Veteran and retired Detective with the Toledo Police Department.
Jim and Laurie enjoyed their retirement in Arizona for the last 25 years. He was a fan of baseball, especially the New York Yankees. He loved to cook, golf, fish, and travel. But especially, he loved his family.
Beloved husband of Laurie (nee Seymour). Dearest father of James John Calipetro, Jr. and his wife Rachel. Devoted grandfather of James John III, Megan Elizabeth, and Jacob Michael Calipetro. Dear brother of Bonnie Bollin (Ed, deceased). Uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Gesu Catholic Church, 2049 Parkside Blvd. Toledo. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery following Mass.
