James Carl Butler, 69, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2012. He was born on June 4, 1942 to the late Martin and Iris Butler in Delray, Michigan.
Jim absolutely loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He had a life-long passion for Nascar and Harley-Davidson. Jim retired from GM after 33 years of service.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Lillian; children, Frank (Gina), Wesley, Rick, Tammy, Velma (Chad); siblings, Caroline (Robert), Lily, Martin (Connie); 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests today from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Pastor Ed Strietelmeier officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to Ebeid Hospice Residence.
