James M. Buck

James M. "Jim" Buck, age 73, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Flower Hospital with loving family by his side. He was born on March 21, 1948 to Donald and Loretta (Burroughs) Buck in Toledo. Jim graduated in 1966 from Start High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines Corps. Jim enjoyed woodworking and making stained glass. He loved music of all types especially the 60's genre. Jim also loved all animals. His smile, spirit and caring nature will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish Jim's memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Vickie Buck; son, Jim (Erin) Buck; beloved grandson, Charlie; beloved granddaughter, Seb; siblings, Janet (Robert) Oakley, Jeffrey (Donna) Buck and John (Angela) Farris; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Lisa) Oakley, Tiffany Oakley, Danielle Buck and Stephen (Kara) Buck; sister-in-law, Carol Campbell; brother-in-law, Terry Styer; canine and feline companions, Ani, Mira, Max, and Josie; grand dog, Kai; grand cat, Panda; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 1:00 p.m.
