James A. Huth, age 77 passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, November 14, 2010 surrounded by his closest family members. He was born December 22, 1932 to Lester and Helen (Turner) Huth in Fostoria, Ohio. James proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and he graduated from Dayton University in 1954 with a degree in Journalism. Following college he worked for the Toledo Blade for 42 years as an editor. Jame's enjoyed working for the Toledo Blade and he was proud of his contributions as an editor. In his spare time he loved spending days at his cottage in Devil's Lake with his dogs that he had as pets over the years. His family will remember his love for history, being a fan of old classic western movies, his eccentric personality and his wonderful sense of humor.
James is survived by his sister, Jane Hoebich; nephews, Rick Alspach, Harold St. John Jr., Tim Huth; John Huth and family; niece, Ann (Doug) Fretz and family. Preceding him in death are his parents, Lester and Helen; brothers, Don and Lester Huth.
At Jame's request all funeral services will be private at this time.
