James A. Hardy

Jim was called home to be with our Lord Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Heartland of Waterville Hospice. Jim worked many years at the Andersons and then at Ameriprise as a Financial Planner. He was a very active member of Hampton Park Disciples of Christ Church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His passion was being with his family and working outside in his yard. He was an avid Beatles fan having actually walked "Abby Road" in London.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Lynda; son, Michael (Carla); grandsons, Joseph and Benjamin; sister, Kris (Jim) Jackson; and brother, Russ (Ruth) Hardy. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Eva Hardy.

The family will receive guests Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
