Jake Dixon Ellis, Iii

Jake Dixon Ellis III was born on February 27, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio, to Mr. and Mrs. Jake Ellis II. Jake graduated from Macomber High School in 1977. He worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years. Jake and his family moved to Orlando, Florida where he continued his career. He left to be with God February 19, 2022. Jake loved his family more than anything. He also enjoyed cooking-barbeque was his specialty. Wherever Jake went, he treated others as if he has known them for years. His kindness, humor and laughter shined bright.

Jake was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He leaves to cherish his memory: six children, Maya Ellis Shumpert, Quintin Ellis, Kennedy Cain, Blake Cain, Jackson Ellis and Nykolas Cain; two brothers Jeffery Ellis and Donald Watkins; his grandson Aiden Ellis Osborne and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother, and sister: Anita Moore Ellis, Jake and Mildred Ellis, Joseph Ellis, and Regina O'Hara.

Private funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2022.
