Jacqueline A. "Jackie" Rosencrantz, age 75, of Ottawa Lake, MI passed away peacefully Christmas Eve morning at home surrounded by loving family. She was born on June 24, 1936 in Toledo. Jackie was the owner of The Breakwater Café, in Point Place for almost ten years. She was an excellent cook, an artist, caterer and wedding decorator. Jackie was spontaneous and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and best friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Rosencrantz; grandson, Chad Westray; brother, Larry Cutsinger; and sister, Ursula Simona. Jackie is survived by her loving children, Kathy (Dennis) Peters, Patricia Westray and Robert Rosencrantz; grandchildren, Kelly (Lester), Arron (Kelly), Jeremy (Brooke) and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Connor, Aubrey, Gavin, Izabella and Brady; sister, Alice (Kenneth) Shaw; brother, Roger (Pat) Cutsinger; and many other relatives and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
