Jacob Gadsden, Jr.

Jacob Gadsden, Jr., age 72, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Heartland of Waterville. he was born on July 8, 1945 to Jacob, Sr. and Ethel (Moore) Gadsden in Toledo. Jacob proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from A.P. Parts after 28 years of service and was a member of the UAW Local 14. One of his passions was photography and filming family functions and get-together's.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Richard Gadsden; grandchildren, Brittni, Abernathy, Brandon, Brianna and Nahki, Kemaury; great-grandson, William and sister, Shirley Gadsden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Jones) Gadsden.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with his Memorial Service beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
