Jackson Burkett departed from this Earth on October 12, 2022. Jackson did all the usual kid stuff, boy scouts, and youth hockey at Tam O'Shanter and shadowed his big brother Max at every opportunity. His life passion was music, he followed this passion to Toledo School for the Arts where he graduated in 2010. Jackson attended First Congregational Church and was in Pilgrim Fellowship through high school and was the first drummer in the church praise band. He was a talented musician, playing drums from an early age, but could pick up any instrument and play. Jackson's last band named Rare Love and their last performance was in the summer.
Jackson attended the University of Toledo, majoring in Anthropology. He was a philosophy and history geek. He worked at UPS and was a proud Teamster just like his grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Dorothy Burkett; Joe and Zola Farmer; and Uncle Charles Farmer. Left to cherish Jackson's memory are his parents, Charles and Marianne (Farmer) Burkett; brother, Max (Lindsay) Burkett; niece, Ellie Burkett; nephew, Bode Burkett; uncle, Stanley (Janice) Burkett; and aunt, Jackie Farmer. He will also be missed by many friends as well.
