Jackie Lynn Gill

Jackie Lynn (Hawkins) Gill, age 49, of Sylvania, passed away unexpectedly October 22, 2020. She was born November 4, 1970 in Providence, Rhode Island, as the youngest of seven from the late Robert and Catherine (Gagne) Pepin. Jackie began employment at Walmart in Rhode Island and continued her career in Ohio as their Cash Office Accountant. Over the 13 years of employment at Walmart she met many friends and made many memories.

Jackie married the love of her life, Michael P. Gill, Jr., on September 23, 2000. From this union came a daughter whom Jackie put 110% into raising into a beautiful young woman.

Jackie was fun with a great sense of humor that followed her humble and compassionate spirit. She adored all the "ladies" she cared for over the years as their caretaker. Jackie was a daughter, sister, friend, cousin, aunt, wife, mom, caregiver, artist, chef, crafter, homemaker, and more. A life well lived...a legacy to be remembered... a child of God. Dear Jackie, we will miss you and carry you in our hearts forever. Well done good and faithful servant.

Jackie is preceded by her parents, and brother, Robert Gagne. To cherish her memory, Jackie leaves her husband of 20 years Michael P. Gill Jr.; "Mommy" to Marisa Gill; Michael's children whom she loved as her own: Michael (Kara) Oswalt, Tyler Gill, and Miranda (Tyler) Shepherd; Siblings: Norma Gagne, Earl Hawkins, Shirley Graham, Wilfred (Lisa) Pepin, and Annmarie (Bill) Preston; and her two crazy cats, Leo and Louie.

Private services have been held at Newcomer Funeral Home; 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623 (419)473-0300.
