Jack Delbert Sheets

Jack Delbert Sheets, age 71, went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2018. He was born on September 29, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Carrie and Raymond Sheets.
Jack was a proud veteran of the US Navy and served in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, Gino's pizza ("square-cut"), woodworking, Western movies and lottery tickets.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Doug (Melinda) Northington, Carrie Sheets (Ray Stowe) and Brent (Brandy) Sheets; siblings, Shirley, Linda, Susan, Nancy, David (Carol), Larry (Mary), Ricky, Kenny; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; good friend, Al Hill. Jack was preceded by his wife, Christine; parents; sister, Margaret.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
The family would like to give a very special thanks to the staff at U of M and VA, especially Rob.
