Jack Jenkins
Jack E. "Sarge" Jenkins, age 79, of Temperance, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in the Flower Hospital. He was born August 26, 1927 in Marion, Ohio. Jack was employed with LOF for more than 20 years. He enjoyed spending time outside in his flower gardens. Jack will also be missed by those he came to know through the Frisch's Restaurant on Lewis Ave.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Dudley and sister, Betty Pettle. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce (Yancey) Jenkins; son George Jenkins; 2 nieces; 2 nephews and their families.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
