Jack P. Goad
Jack P. Goad, age 59, of Toledo passed away at his residence Friday November 5, 2004. He was born June 26, 1945 in Macon County, TN to Willie and Alma (Copas). He was a conductor for C.S.X. Railroad for the past 40 years. He was a member of the Athens Missionary Baptist Church, and the Paragon Lodge F.& A.M. # 788. He was a veteran of the Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Bill Odom.
He is survived by his wife Paula; daughter Gina; sisters Bernice Odom, and Ann (Ernie) Wobser; brothers Jerry (Carol) Goad, and Roger (Ann) Goad; sister-in-law Dianna (James) Best; brother-in-law Dave Smiddy; mother-in-law Pauline Smiddy-Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Monday from 4-8 P.M. at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) where Masonic services will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park with military graveside services. Memorial contributions may be made to Athens Missionary Baptist Church.
