Jack D. Orcutt, age 72, of Toledo, passed away, Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 10, 1942 to Merton and Alice Orcutt in Toledo. Jack retired from Chrysler Machining after 33 years. He was a member of the Maumee Valley Thunderbird Club. Jack enjoyed old cars. He also did woodworking, loved traveling with retirees from Local 1435, breakfast out with the guys and ballroom dancing and traveling in the motorhome with his wife. He loved nothing more than family get-togethers and spending time with family and friends. Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Donna Orcutt, which they just celebrated on July 20th with family and friends; sons, David and Tracy Orcutt; daughter, Jacki (David) Myrice; grandchildren, Brittney, Tyler and Travis Orcutt; Erin, Emily and Elena Myrice; brother, Joseph Orcutt; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will take place Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with visitation one hour prior.
