Ivy D. Reid, age 87 of Toledo passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. She was born March 20, 1924 in Worchester, Northampton, Great Britain and moved to the United States during World War II. Ivy married Bartholomew M. Reid and he preceded her in death. She worked as a seamstress for Sophia Lustig many years ago, was an avid reader and enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her three sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bartholomew. Ivy is survived by her three sons, Bart (Patti) Reid, Patrick (Barb) Reid and Cliff Reid; grandchildren, Riley, Randi and Kyle Reid, Kierstin and Tenley Reid, Derek and Brock Keeler; great-granddaughter, Kayla Mattson.
Services will be private.
