Isabell I. Rodgers

Isabell I. Rodgers, age 91, of Toledo, passed away January 7, 2017 at the Fairview Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Isabell was born August 24, 1925 in Lawrence Co, TN. to William and Bervia (Wilson) Hodge. She was an avid bowler, loved to play guitar and was a big fan of Bluegrass. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband John, as well as camping with her dogs and traveling throughout the Southwest. A member of the South Toledo Baptist Church, she was very involved with her Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, John T. Rodgers, Jr.; Daughter, Thelma E. Staggs; Grandchildren, Thomas F. (Frances) Clark, Richard S. (Connie) Clark, Stephanie L. (Lena) Rodgers and Erik T. (Angie) Rodgers; brothers, Leo (Delores) Hodge, Jim (Phoebe) Hodge, Charlie Hodge; 14 great grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John and grandson, Lee.

The family will receive guests from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4752 Heatherdowns, Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
