Irene Wiegand
Irene Wiegand, 85, of Toledo passed away Tuesday August 3, 2004 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo after a short illness. She was born in Toledo September 1, 1918 the daughter of the late Frank and Lottie (Pilishowicz) Yantz. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed bingo, camping, and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Wiegand September 29, 1974, and daughter Susan August 7, 1958.
She is survived by daughters Barbara (Larry) Sugg, and Mary (Ben) Johnston; son Ron (Bobbi) Wiegand; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 4-8 P.M. at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
